The IKEDA logo will be included in TAS-SSA
2024-09-13
Hello!
This time we will be sharing information about minor changes.
When the previous president, Katsuaki Ishiyama, announced this product,
The beautiful harmony of stainless steel and aluminum alloy was brought to the forefront.
That's very cool in itself, but there's no IKEDA Sound Labs logo anywhere.
At first glance, it was a product that only we, the makers, could understand.
So this time, we decided to silk-screen print "IKEDA Sound Labs." on the top surface!
The text color is Ikeda Blue, which stands out against the texture of the stainless steel.
We intentionally did not make the letters too large, but kept them a modest size at first glance to create an elegant look.
For TAS-SSA, we ask the customer to remove the top plate.
At this time, by rotating the top plate to match the exit of the arm cable,
The IKEDA Sound Labs. logo can be placed in the position of your choice.
The above photo is an example of the setting.
Usually, the tonearm is set to the top right of the record player.
In that case, turn the top plate to a position that can be seen from the right side and set it.
As you can see, the logo is located below the knob of the IT-VTA-06, which looks natural and cool. (Photo ①)
The logo alone seems to be too far from the edge of the tabletop,
Don't worry, the markings are printed so that they fit snugly when you attach the IT-VTA-06 or tone arm.
Also, the setting on the bottom left is a special example.
The tone arm is basically facing backwards.
If you position the top plate so that the logo is just below the weight, the logo will look cool.
By the way, an L-shaped wrench rod is included to remove the cap bolts that secure the top plate, so don't worry about that either.
Each one also has a serial number.
This has been a long message, but that's all for today.
The TAS-SSA is very easy to use, yet heavy.
This tone arm stand combines the benefits of stainless steel and aluminum alloy.
The world of analog records is both interesting and pitiful.
If you start with a short arm, you'll definitely want a longer one.
If you are using a lightweight tonearm, you will definitely want a heavyweight one.
You'll want both static balance and dynamic balance types.
In such cases, you can use this independent tone arm stand TAS-SSA.
You'll be able to enjoy your new tonearm without destroying your current system!
There are two types of arm mounting hole diameters: 2mm and 31mm.
We can also fine-tune the height to suit your environment in 1mm increments.
If you are looking for something taller, please contact us and we can manufacture it for you.
Please consider it. We also have TAS-SSA samples available in our listening room.
We hope that when you come to listen to the sound of IKEDA Sound Labs., you will also experience the presence, coolness, and sense of security of TAS-SSA.
Although the hot weather is still continuing, I hope you all enjoy your analog audio life.

Hello!
Today, we're excited to share some minor update information with you.
We've decided to add the IKEDA Sound Labs. logo to our tone arm stand, TAS-SSA!
When our former president, Katsuaki Ishiyama, first introduced this product,
the beauty of the stainless steel and aluminum alloy harmony was the main focus.
While it's still very cool, the IKEDA Sound Labs. logo was nowhere to be found,
so at first glance, only the creators like us knew who made it.
So, this time we've decided to silk-print "IKEDA Sound Labs." on the top plate!
We've chosen a text color that beautifully complements the stainless steel tone - our signature IKEDA Blue.
Rather than making the text too large, we've opted for a more subtle size to convey a sense of sophistication.
To set up the TAS-SSA, simply remove the top plate and attach the rotary base that comes with the IKEDA tone arm or the Tone Arm Elevation IT-VTA-06.
When doing so, you can rotate the top plate to align with the arm cable's exit point, allowing you to position the IKEDA Sound Labs. logo exactly where you want it.
Here's an example of how the TAS-SSA can be set up (see photo above).
Typically, tone arms are set up on the right upper side of the record player. In this case, you can rotate the top plate so that the logo is visible from the right side, positioning it just below the knob of the IT-VTA-06 (see photo ①). This creates a sleek and balanced look.
Some might think the logo is too close to the edge of the top plate, but don't worry - it's designed to look perfect when the IT-VTA-06 or tone arm is attached.
Setting up the tone arm on the lower left side is a less common configuration, but it can still look great. Since the tone arm typically points backwards in this setup, you can rotate the top plate so that the logo is positioned just below the weight, creating a stylish look.
By the way, the L-shaped wrench bar needed to remove the cap bolt that holds the top plate in place is included, so you don't need to worry about that either. And, each TAS-SSA comes with its own serial number.
That's all for today's update. The TAS-SSA is an extremely user-friendly and heavy-duty tone arm stand that combines the best of stainless steel and aluminum alloys.
The world of analog records can be both fascinating and frustrating - once you start with a short arm, you'll soon want a long one, and if you're using a lightweight tone arm, you'll eventually want a heavier one too. You might want both static balance and dynamic balance types. That's where the TAS-SSA comes in - this independent tone arm stand lets you enjoy new tone arms without disrupting your current system!
The arm mounting hole comes in two sizes: 31φ and 41φ. We can also manufacture custom sizes in 1mm increments to fit your specific diameter needs. If you're looking for an even taller stand, just let us know and we can make it happen.
Please consider giving the TAS-SSA a try. We have a sample available in our demo room, so feel free to come by and experience the sound of IKEDA Sound Labs. while checking out the TAS-SSA's presence, style, and reliability.
That's all for now. Stay cool and enjoy your analog audio life!
Sincerely,
IKEDA Sound Labs. Webmaster
