IST-201は、低インピーダンス（1Ω～6Ω）のMCカートリッジ用に設計された高性能昇圧トランスです。

Step-up transformer for low impedance MC cartridges
The IST-201 is a high-performance step-up transformer designed for low-impedance (1Ω-6Ω) MC cartridges. This transformer, which combines Ikeda's tradition and technology, brings out the full potential of the cartridge and provides unprecedented transparency and accuracy in music reproduction.

1. Use of high-performance core material
* Utilizing a high-quality core material with high permeability, it achieves low-distortion and low-loss voltage step-up.
2. Carefully selected termination resistors
* The secondary side features a carefully selected high-quality load resistor, providing stable performance and excellent frequency characteristics even with changes in the connected audio cable or load impedance.
3. Floating connection structure
* Compatible with floating connections, allowing for both normal and balanced floating connections to be selected. Maintaining signal purity while accommodating a wide range of connection methods.
4. Fully independent magnetic shield
* Each left and right transformer is magnetically shielded in its own Mu-metal case, preventing mutual interference. The entire unit is then protected by a large, conductive shield case, completely isolating the signal from external noise.
5. Precision RCA connector design
* A rhodium-plated, machined RCA connector is directly mounted to an insulating plate, eliminating interference between left and right channels and between input and output, as well as shielding the chassis's influence, to faithfully protect the faint signal.
