先日、弊社IKEDA Sound Labs.の製造元アイテイ工業にお客様からお問い合わせがありました。

Q. 長年愛用しているRS-121のアジマスが緩くなってしまっているのでどうにかなりませんか？

アイテイ工業ではヘッドシェルとコネクターとを水平を保ちながら密着固定させる、

これを弊社ではカシメると呼んでいるのですが、アジマス調整しないタイプの場合はこのカシメ調整をしています。

RS-121は密着固定のタイプなのでアジマスが緩むとなると再調整・・・要は再カシメをしなければいけないのですがこれがとても危険！

このカシメ作業はかなり繊細な調整が求められるため、調整を間違えるとリセプタクルピンを押してしまい使用不可能になってしまいます。

しかし、お客様が長くご愛顧されたものを直せてこそ企業ですし、なによりフィデリティーリサーチの製品といえばIKEDA Sound Labs.の

兄貴分でもありますので、幾つか調整方法を提案させていただき、弊社で再調整をさせていただきました。

ここまではお仕事のお話なのですが、ここから先が凄く嬉しいお話になります。

なんとお客様からその他のFRのヘッドシェルと並んでいる写真を送ってくださいました！

そしてそこにはこちらもアイテイ工業で新たに製造して販売させていただいた FR-S/3の止めネジが装着されている姿が！

The other day, we received an inquiry from a customer at IT Industries, the manufacturer of our company IKEDA Sound Labs.
Q. The azimuth of the RS-121, which I have been using for many years, has become loose. Is there anything I can do about it?

At IT Industries, we fix the head shell and connector in close contact while keeping them horizontal.
At our company, we call this crimping, and for types that do not have azimuth adjustment, we perform this crimping adjustment.
RS-121 is a tightly fixed type, so if the azimuth loosens, you have to readjust it...in other words, re-crimp it, which is very dangerous!
This caulking process requires very delicate adjustment, so if you make a mistake, the receptacle pin will be pushed and become unusable.

However, we are a company if we can fix things that customers have used for a long time, and above all, Fidelity Research's products are IKEDA Sound Labs.
Since I am also a big brother, I suggested several adjustment methods and readjusted them at our company.

Up to this point, we've been talking about work, but from here on out, it's going to be a really exciting story.
A customer sent us a photo of it lined up with other FR headshells!
And there you can see the set screw of FR-S/3, which was also newly manufactured and sold by IT Industries, installed!
I was so happy that I immediately responded to the email, expressed my joy, and received permission to post the photos on my website.
